Matty will be too busy with his duties as Official State Pothead to run for office.
He pulled out because he looked around and concluded he would lose ergo it just wasn’t worth having operatives from The Right digging through all his dirty laundry and jeopardizing his movie career.
“I believe McCauley Culkin is 41, Home Alone came out in 1990 (I think). 52 would mean he’d be 22 in that movie at the time, which would make him one hell of an actor.”
He is, he just is THAT good.
My bad. He does (allegedly) bathe, but does not wear deodorant.
Pretty good movie and probably influenced a number of people to go into progressive politics. I remember that they were going to do a sequel on what happened to McKay after being in office like 30 years and Redford was going to reprise his role but it never happened. Now Warren Beatty did an outrageous comedy called Bullworth and it was pretty funny of a Lib senator running for reelection while having a nervous breakdown.
Decision probably based on knowing that the Ghislaine Maxwell trial will reveal some of his proclivities...
If I recall correctly, the character was based on Governor Moonbeam.
Most actors are best when someone else writes what they say, and has a team around them 24/7 to keep them in line to protect their phony image
He isn’t the only one on Hollywood like that, several stink and some don’t bathe. Hygiene in Hollywood is pretty bad. I knew a woman who reused her Maxi-Pads, talk about gross and then some. Bet you have a few gals out there into who knows what for their periods.
Now let’s flatline his career.
well, it’s not like there’s anything in his closet this day and age that could possibly disqualify him...
He probably polled 5 people and 4 said no way! There was probably a woman as the 5th person. Gavin Newsome kept his job the same way. A bunch of suburban women kept him in.
Yes I think that it was, but this was before Brown had been elected to any office, He was elected governor in 1975
I didn’t think he would, mostly because it’s taken him so very long to make his mind up.
Why don’t people here ever mention Colonel West? If you don’t like the Gov, vote for West. He hasn’t done or said anything I’m against.
If that's the case, he made the right decision, though I wish more politicians had come to the same conclusion.
I’d love to know the actual thoughts behind those comments.
Some of them are ripe with double/triple meaning.
West has as much as Elder chances in TX. Zero.
