A mob of 20 to 30 suspected looters converged on a Minnesota mall, rampaging through a Best Buy electronics store — the latest in a rash of “flash mob” type thefts across the US in recent weeks.
The incident in suburban Minneapolis, which police said involved no weapons, took place near the Burnsville mall Friday night. Police did not have an estimate on how much merchandise was allegedly stolen.

I was reading that the term “looter” or “looting” are racist terms and should no longer be used and instead should now be replaced with the more politically correct phrase “chimp out”

Looting is the wrong word.
The word you are looking for is “sack”.
You know those running digit totals on TV news for “President’s speech to Congress 9 hours, 21 minutes away” and
“X million dropped dead from Covid because they refused a vax jab?”-——well I want a tally showing the quickly reducing amount of dollars in the amount “non persons of color owe for slavery reparations since 1619”.
Every looting session, carjacking, auto theft and mugging plus each home invasion should reduce the grand total.

As much as I loath looters, every one of these “events” is a monster ad for Republicans if they start getting vocal.

Burnsville is an outer suburb in a swing district, 82% white 4% black. This is big news locally.
