That sounds right. She refused to accede to any of the “follow-on” indignities the PGA was trying to impose on her pursuant to PGA policy due to the final decision she had made to refuse to accept direct bodily insult via clot shot injection.
This was righteous defiance.
Oh, hey, we’re mandating that you go out of your way to do these things that are annoying, waste time (your time, you better not be clocking in for this!) , and for many places, you pick up the tab, not us. Also, we mandate you have to wear a sign of subjugation, and you can’t hang out with anyone in case you get too close and spread cooties.
But hey, if you haaaaappen to decide to get an experimental shot with unsure consequences, you don’t have to do any of the above.
