Epiglottic dysfunction, possibly owing to dysphagia. She’s choking on the saliva that’s going down her trachea, instead of the esophagus. Frequently occurs in older people. The Beast is in her 70s.

AFTER her “hairball glass of water” trick during the campaign, she disappeared for a time from public view, when she did, it appeared she became somewhat enlarged around the midsection.
Not a whole lot of speculation at the time, but I recognized this from some of my patients w/ central respiratory dysfunction and COPD from years back.
It’s likely after one of her many published falls, like the ones requiring her to wear the famed Fresnel lens birth control glasses, that she either HAD a bulbar palsy or induced one after whacking her head on the kitchen tiles and awakening in a pool of her scotch-laden vomit.
Reminds me of a neurology professor in med school saying President Reagan had dementia. He rattled off some of the signs/symptoms and it ws pretty amazing. He was right.
