Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has a podcast now, called Firebrand. He was joined by fellow pro-Trump stalwart Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who weighed in on the growing battle within the Republican Party — suggesting that House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) “doesn’t have the votes” to become speaker if the GOP flips the House in 2022.
Greene’s comments come on the heels of a recent report claiming that former President Donald Trump is keeping McCarthy on a short leash, leveraging his support for McCarthy’s speakership bid to keep him in line.

Who DOES have the votes?
Love that woman. How can anyone not be physically attracted to her. I was only after her first few sentences a wayback.
I hope this is true,
But I doubt it
Sorry, she is wrong. His 8+ hour speech just won him the job.
Maybe it is when her first utterance of a syllable reaches your unshielded ear?
Who fell for that?
What makes them think a challenger will have the votes?
We will not get new leadership by re-electing the same 145 Assistant Democrats that voted for Liz Cheney to lead them away from MAGA in Feb.
Put Jim Jordan or one of the other Freedom Caucus members in as Speaker of the House. Then clean the house!
Some people actually believed there was a Lindsay 2.0 after his Kavanaugh speech.
Just stating facts.
Good. Only President Trump approved choices will get my support, for any position.
We will only get new leadership from a new membership.
We need more like MTG and a lot fewer like Kinzinger.
I vote for my guy. Lee Zeldin. Not that my vote counts
I hope she is right. Both Mitch $ McCarthy have to go.
President Trump is still endorsing Bush League Republicans.
Do your own research.
Grassley voted for Porkulus II and Trump endorsed him.
Rubio voted for amnesty and Trump endorsed him.
Trump endorsed McConnell, McCain, Romney, Grahamnesty and too many to list that do not support MAGA.
Has Kev talked this over with his roomie/landlord Frank Lutz?
I hope this is true,
But I doubt it

I doubt it’s true now. This is the same group that voted for Liz Cheney for the number 3 spot.
Although, if we elect enough real Republicans next year, it might come true.
He is decent in terms of past House leaders. If I were to rank the ones of my era:
1 - Gingrich
2 - McCarthy
3 - Boehner
4 - Ryan
5 - Michel
6 - Hastert
(Hastert has to be last due to his crimes, but he wasn’t bad in office)
