Only in Blue States was there no Thanksgiving....those of us in Florida and other Red States celebrated Thanksgiving last year like every other year.....
I live in NY State. In a red county. We had a nice thanksgiving last year. This year thanksgiving is not so good. My 3 un vaxed kids are in danger of losing their jobs do to a stolen presidency.
We did here in Tennessee.
I just put the more expensive bird in to slow cook, Missing the timer, gravy, and giblets I normally give the 2 dogs. Butterball from Walmart, as Kroger had ‘SUPPLY ISSUES”.
Bread machine is on, potatoes cooking in the oven to be mashed, Sweet Potato Casserole, cranberry sauce, and Pie. Just 2 of us this year, kids went else where with the grands.
I live in a blue state. I had Thanksgiving last year. And Christmas. I worked too, left the house every day unless I didn’t need to. My daily routine was unaffected aside from having to wear that damned mask!
It was normal here too (illannoy).
