Redfield is a troubling choice to be in any position of authority
He was fired as head of the Army Lab some years back for falsifying HIV studies ( and replaced by his assistant, Deborah Brix)
Yet managed to stay on as a top health bureaucrat and eventually head of CDC. He must be a helluva rainmaker ( and it isnt obvious it is his charm, personality, intelligence, or honesty….so…)
Currently he is advisor to MD Gov Larry Hogan ( another blowhard ignoramus)
Once criminals take over an area they are careful to populate the area with nothing but other criminals. This is the CDC and most govt agencies in a nutshell.
