I saw all the Harry Potter movies but never read any of the books. I never understood why the series was such a phenomenon. I did not find any of the stories to be particularly compelling. Didn't hate them, but didn't love them. As children's books, they were OK. They held my kids interest and motivated them to learn to read, so as a parent I loved them.

I saw that video. With young nieces and nephews. Bored out of my mind. Of course that “white is bad” stood out and the worst thing you could call someone was a “mudblood” or something like that.

I'm going to tell you why the series had such a following -- it was promoted by millions of mothers whose sons are nerdy odd-balls who get bullied. The moms took to the Harry character because he helped them imagine that their sons are actually super-awesome wizards and not creepy little porn-hounds living in the basement.

Serves her right - Harry Potter inspires young men to become soy boys and Incels. No, not at all. The stories are about bravery, loyalty, and friendship. The sorcery is just the backdrop.
The books came out just before the gay revolution of the 2010's. There's nothing about homosexuality in it, only an undertone of "girls are smarter and braver than boys" which has been going on for decades. The notion that Dumbledore or anyone else was gay was ret-conned into the books.

J K Rowling helped bring all this to fruition.. Lets go JK.....
To: Hyman Roth
JK is smart enough to know that Trans politics will delete Feminism. If any man can pretend to be a woman, there is no feminism. Everything feminists were awarded for decades disappears. Sexual harassment, unequal compensation, women in politics and leadership, “believe the victims/#MeToo” are all gone.
Any man can claim to be a woman and he can change back and forth. If your group demands more women in STEM careers, that’s easy to do now and their demands are meaningless.

The new book Writer’s Retreats by Neil Burkey said Rowling was named “the first billionaire writer.”
Net worth is now something over $1 billion as she passed 820 million British Pounds already.
Rah, rah for the lowly masses rioting for social justice.

Deviancy will forever be defined downwards.
Every single time that a society allows a perversion in the name of tolerance, that will become the new normal and the deviants will ask society to lower their standards once more.
It's a never ending cycle and there is no bottom with these people.

They don’t want tolerance. They want to be worshipped.
I assume the 20th anniversary showing of Harry Potter movie is going to tank. Maybe that will get the woke’s attention.

I saw a Harry Potter movie on TV once. There was some kind of competition going on, on flying brooms or something. The good-guy team, led by Harry Potter, had all different races in it. The bad-guy team, led by a blond, Aryan looking guy, was ALL WHITE. Now, maybe Rowling didn’t write it that way in the books. Maybe that was a decision made by the movie people. But it gives me the impression that the whole Harry Potter thing is “woke.” It must be just the movie. In the book, there was at least one black Slytherin. Don't know about the Slytherin Quidditch team though; I'd have to look that one up.
