WAUKESHA, Wis. - An SUV sped into a Christmas parade in suburban Milwaukee on Sunday, leaving multiple people injured, according to witnesses.
Police in Waukesha were urging people to avoid the downtown area.
A live video feed of the parade from the city of Waukesha showed a red SUV breaking through barriers and speeding into the roadway where the parade was taking place. It’s unclear how many people are injured, and police said they could not immediately provide details.

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) — According to multiple witness reports, the Waukesha Holiday Parade area has been evacuated Sunday, Nov. 21, following reports of gunshots and a speeding vehicle in the zone of the parade route.
Sources tell CBS 58 that the parade area is currently being evacuated following multiple gunshots have been fired.
CBS 58 News is working to confirm several reports of multiple injuries.
Videos and photos from the scene indicate a red SUV drove through the crowd hitting pedestrians and accelerating throughout the route.
