Not to be cynical....but the story behind the story could be different from anticipated...
Suppose victim...got man x drunk...copulated with him...than get pregnant by some other guy or guys or got AI’d...and was going to pin child support on man x?
Or suppose she was engaged to man x...told man x she was using birth control...but wasn’t and got pregnant by him or man y...now man x is stuck with her and baby. Well...no more...
People weave ugly, twisted tales...
