So true. I didn’t totally believe what one of those .223/556 bullets could do until I saw the prosecution’s exhibit of the injury to the surviving shootee’s right arm. OMG!! It looked like an alligator had just taken a huge, ragged bite out of that arm. From now on he’ll be known as “Lefty.” There was no challenge to either the accuracy or authenticity of that exhibit.

Anything heavier at that distance would have made him an amputee.

Most common ammo is 5.56 55gr FMJ.

I have no clue what he actually shot.

I don’t own an AR or an AK.

I can reload 5.56
