I will contend they didn’t want a conviction. They seemed to be doing everything they could to cause a mistrial
They clearly wanted a conviction. What they didn’t want was a ‘not guilty’, and so when things went against them so severely, they did some things which suggest they were trying to get a mistrial so they could try again.

Moron on Fox just referred to a “privilege” of self defense. Your driver’s licence is a privilege your licence to sell fruit from a cart is a privilege. Our right of self defence is a God given right.

Better judged by 12 than carried by six. That video made my day. I know many are cynical but my faith in our jury system was restored today.
A just verdict and I wish Kyle a great life going forward. He certainly earned it.
