I had an AP American history teacher who hated William Harding for some reason. She constantly made fun of his inventing the word “normalcy”. The proper word was “normality” but he misspoke in a speech and it changed the word forever. And he was still mocked for it, oh, 50 or so years later.

Lefties always hated Harding for starting his administration with the Palmer Raids.

The raids hunted down slimy Commies and accused them of setting off bombs and stuff...

I am sure your teacher didn't want the revolutionary vanguard arrested like that!
