Bidenflation=Bigger Government: White House Offering More Aid for Winter Heat and Utility Bills
Breitbart ^ | 11/18/2021 | AP

Posted on 11/18/2021 6:04:43 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

The Biden administration is taking steps to help distribute several billion dollars in aid for winter heating and utility bills, an unprecedented sum that comes largely from its $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package.

The package provided an additional $4.5 billion for the government’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, which typically has funding of $3 billion to $4 billion annually. Aid for renters can also cover utility costs, while the money provided to state, local and tribal governments can help families that face high heating bills and are ineligible for other programs.

Makes bills higher with their polices but lets you go ahead and give you money to pay for it?? No logic there.

Standard Issue Democrat Marxist play from eh 1970s.

Create a problem with bad policy and then demand more Government to subsidies their failure.

The logic is to destroy America. Get people super desperate and they’ll give over more power to the government. Stalin in Ukraine, for example.

Well, it's more like, causing inflation, then borrowing money to help pay the higher prices. Can't see how anything that could possibly go wrong with this strategy.

We are replaying the inflation debate of the 70’s. Why are we having to do this again? It’s because Republicans didn’t “spike the ball.” I hesitate to use a sports metaphor for this because the Left needed to be utterly humiliated and destroyed. Anyone who believes what they believe about inflation is an idiot deserving mockery. The GOP only knows how to lose.

The neocons made everything into an economic question. The broader conservative movement embraced this with both arms. Why? What was the point? Here we are, going through these economic arguments all over again. We couldn’t even win that.

The people behind Biden are following the tried and true political plan.

Create a problem.
Deny the problem exists or say the problem is actually good.
Apply the wrong remedy.
Make problem worse.
Repeat.

the government’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program

How does this help the middle class that is burdened with skyrocketing inflation and actually have to pay their own bills?

Even Krugman, NYT Neil Irwin and now Steve Ratner know what’s causing higher energy prices.
Yet, the narrative is that if they get to pass their BBB bill next, it will bring down inflation. You can’t make this stuff up!
When they address inflation it may be too late. I remember the 1970-80s

Also blame Republicans if it doesn’t pass. They are so good at this stuff. It’s scary.

We having the same argument from the 1970s again because Joe Biden, who went to DC for the 1st time in 1972, learned nothing at all.

The Price of Liberty is Eternal Violence. I know “Conservatives” find this really really hard to grasp but there is no “spiking the ball” in politics.

Instead politics is like a zombie movie. Left zombies continually infect new people with their zombie political dogmas. We will have to keep killing the Leftist zombie scum politically forever.

We would not be in this mess if Biden’s predecessors, from both parties, had not allowed the deficit to reach $1 trillion before the pandemic hit. Don’t get me wrong; Biden is a senile puppet whose inflationary policies have been a disaster. But it takes more than one man to create the Weimar Republic part II. We need to start looking into which Republicans aided and abetted the federal government spending like a drunken sailor and primary them.
