There’s “metadata” on the file they created that’ll show all this.
There’s forensic info on the actual laptop that’ll show which program was used and then.

so he is claiming the state crime lab compressed it when they e-mailed it out to the defense
I suppose that the meta data would change to a new file create when it was compressed

I posted earlier the “Chan” theory is they took the footage from TV. They got the Fox News Tucker broadcast and then cropped off the labeling. Then said a mysterious person gave it to them.
I thought he meant the email servers compressed the file. Simple solution would have been to zip the file(s) before sending. A server can’t compress a zip file any further. When unzipped, you get the original files.
Unfortunately, even after decades of people using computers in their everyday life, most still seem to be computer illiterate.
Crime Lab is a state actor.
So if Crime Lab compressed it and misled defense = mistrial.
Lunchbox was saying it was the phone from iPhone to Android that caused the compression.
None of what he said made sense and he was called down for it. Need to swear them in and ask what happened so there are real consequences for misleading the court.
Defense is too passive. Judge is too passive.
