Some of you people need to decide if you like big government or not. Do you want the Governor to decide everything for an entire state or do you want to leave local decisions to local governments? Or do you only want a Governor to make these decisions if you agree with them?

He’s behaving as a believer in subsidiarity and federalism ought. If your local government wants to impose such draconian restrictions, have at them or vote with your feet. It’s the American way.

I don’t get why everybody is so upset with Governor Youngkin. He said he will not do a state wide decision and it can be done locally. That means local people need to step up and assert themselves. That seems like an approach that is conservative and small government. Give the guy a chance to establish a fuller track record before writing him off.
