Nassau County Executive Laura Curran conceded her reelection race Tuesday to Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman, one of several municipal-level government posts across New York that the GOP flipped in this election cycle.
Curran offered the concession after Blakeman beat her by more than 2,100 votes with nearly all absentee ballots counted, according to unofficial returns.
