The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says it has no record of people who are naturally immune transmitting the virus that causes COVID-19.
The federal health agency was asked during the fall by a lawyer on behalf of the Informed Consent Action Network for documents “reflecting any documented case of an individual who: (1) never received a COVID-19 vaccine; (2) was infected with COVID-19 once, recovered, and then later became infected again; and (3) transmitted SARS-CoV-2 to another person when reinfected.”
SARS-CoV-2 is another name for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19.
Persons who recover from COVID-19 are also known as naturally immune.
In a response dated Nov. 5 and made public this week, the CDC said it does not have any documents pertaining to the request.
The CDC confirmed to The Epoch Times that its Emergency Operations Center did not find any records responsive to the request.
The agency declined to say whether any documentation had been found between Nov. 5 and Nov. 12, directing The Epoch Times to file a Freedom of Information Act Request for that information, which it did.
“You would assume that if the CDC was going to crush the civil and individual rights of those with natural immunity by having them expelled from school, fired from their jobs, separated from the military, and worse, the CDC would have proof of at least one instance of an unvaccinated, naturally immune individual transmitting the COVID-19 virus to another individual. If you thought this, you would be wrong,” Aaron Siri, a lawyer who sought the records on behalf of the network, said in a blog post.
The CDC’s disclosure drew responses from several medical experts, including Johns Hopkins Dr. Marty Makary, who said it underlined how little data the agency has released concerning the recovered.
Makary called on the CDC to make public data on any re-infections that have resulted in hospitalization or death, with information on the patient’s comorbidities or lack thereof.
“CDC should be transparent with data on natural immunity. Instead we get glimpses from FOIA requests like this one,” he wrote on Twitter.
The CDC sets few firm rules but its guidance has proven enormously influential during the COVID-19 pandemic. Virtually all officials imposing COVID-19 vaccine mandates have left out the option for people to refuse the jab if they can prove they had COVID-19 and recovered, with many citing the CDC.
Officials across the country have urged people to get vaccinated by claiming it will protect those around them.
“Getting the vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and others around you, especially as the more contagious Delta variant spreads around the country,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC’s director, said in a statement over the summer, but soon after she said vaccines could “no longer prevent transmission” during a television appearance.
Over 100 studies provide support for natural immunity bringing strong and similar or superior protection compared to vaccines, including a real-world Israeli study. But agency officials have promoted two of their own studies in arguing even those who have natural immunity should get vaccinated, asserting natural immunity has not proven as durable as vaccination.
Experts are divided on the matter. Some align with the CDC; others say those with natural immunity should or should consider getting a single shot of a vaccine; still others recommend most or all with natural immunity not get a jab.
The CDC did say in a brief released earlier this month that natural immunity and vaccines offer protection for at least six months. It said nothing about transmission in its brief.
In 2020, they refused to acknowledge natural immunity, despite the push toward herd immunity. They refused to test for antibodies. They refused to acknowledge comorbidities.

And two years later...I'm still up in the gills of many people...Many were POS 19....
I'm fine...have not taken the VAXX either....
Some people took the VAXX @ the Hosp......and thought they were now invincible...
Many of them got sick a few months later....and I have not.
Had a guy get the Moderna vax's...last May or so....He got the 19 last month. And he is sick in our Hosp....
I'm pretty sure I have the immunities.....why else would I be fine....???

They didn’t look very hard. What about GOP Congressman Clay Higgins? He’s a pretty famous case of reinfection.
Because you are assuming an unproved.
No record that the Congressperson was re-infected by someone with natural immunity
Two different issues here
It's a mystery. My son in law was very very sick for two weeks. She had him quarantined in the house as best she could. But she still brought him soup and fresh clothes, medicine, etc. She never got sick either. She tested herself twice during those two weeks. So either y'all got lucky or there's some other mystery like blood type, immunity, genetics, something we don't know.

It’s quite possible, with the false positives with the testing that he was not reinfected. For example; I have the flu and false positive for Covid, then I have Covid (even though I really didn’t). I later catch Covid - that’s not a reinfection.
My post on Nextdoor which stated that those with natural immunity are far less likely to transmit the disease than those who are vaccinated was taken down because it was “misinformation.”
I am wondering about natural immunity. I am a health care worker. Worked the entire time during the Scandemic in a hospital. Must have been exposed numerous times but can remember taking care of a man for a week, then finding out he tested positive. I, along with others were tested. ( I believe I had a light case as I had body aches and a headache that was horrible. I had these symptoms before finding out about the Covid + patient I was caring for. I tested negative. Recently my allergies were really bad, similar to Covid sx. I tested negative. Just out of curiosity, I got an antibody test. Negative . I take monthly allergy shots. Maybe that helped or maybe there is a category of people naturally immune. I did not take the Covid vax
My wife works at a nursing home and both the original covid and delta have been through there. A few residents have had it and 5-6 co-workers have had it. I’ve been a non mask person like most people around here. Neither my wife or I or the kids have gotten it. We also haven’t had a flu or cold in 5-6 years but we had them a lot for the first 5 years she worked there. Then one day it just stopped.
I think by her working there and bringing so much stuff home for the first 5-6 years, we simply gained immunity to colds(coronaviruses) & the flu. Evidently that passes over to covid.
Hey rrt... you go! I left my rural over the mandate, so i didn’t get to see the vaccinated get covid. Now i have a teligious exemption to turn in here. Hugs.. labrat. Thanks for posting.

I've had loogies coughed on me..aerosolized on me...and had a "magic" loogie coughed into my eye.....Years ago....It's a good story...that actually happened....

I'm unvaxxed....and not going to get it ever.
I've not had the flu since I was a kid.....I never got the "flu" shot...until I started working at a small Rural Hosp..that demanded it...or you had to wear a mask during flu "season"..I deduced that shot was okay..to take. Didn't want to wear a mask all the time...
But now when I work..I'm sometime double masked.....
It's all crazy!!
I got the flu shot once and it made me sicker and for longer than the flu itself.
I'm a petri dish..that grows nothing. Or it grows something that doesn't effect me....
My Rural Hosp...is under 100 LabRats..hehe....so the Fed's are not demanding the VAXX, yet....
They would lose many employee's if the Fed's demand it....Prolly could not function....actually.
And it's a busy little Rural Hosp.
