The press has ridiculed him for breaking down on the stand. But if Rittenhouse had not broken down on the stand they would’ve described that as, “he calmly bragged, without the slightest bit of remorse, how he cold-bloodedly gunned down and murdered his victims who were fighting for racial justice”.

Pretty sharp contrast to the language that they would use when they like someone - just about every other word in the story about the trial would “allegedly.”

Ummm...when did self-defense become murder? Homicide, yeah, but not murder. That's two completely different things, motive being the primary factor.
