Russia on Friday dismissed as inflammatory a media report suggesting Moscow might be weighing an attack on Ukraine and accused the United States of making a series of aggressive moves in the Black Sea.
Washington has raised concerns about a potential Russian attack on Ukraine with its European Union allies, the Bloomberg news agency reported a day earlier.
The report cited potentially suspicious troop movements inside Russia as being one of the reasons for U.S. concern.

With incompetent fools like Milley on the JCS maybe the US military is now stupid enough to initiate a naval conflict in the Black Sea. Pray for our sailors.
Putin is not taking the bait. Russia will not invade the Ukraine. He knows who the real President of the US is. He’s smart enough to stay out of Trump’s way.
I wish Putin would make up his mind. This must be the twentieth time the MSM has said that Russia is moving on the Ukraine border.
Ukraine just wants more US Money—one of the leaders wants to buy his mistress a new diamond bikini that’s all. When Putin acts it will be when the US and Europe are distracted by depression, civil unrest, natural disaster, or war with China. Then the T-90s will roll into Kiev in a week. The old (Pro-Russia) President will be put back “Until new free elections (ha ha) are held.”
While I don’t want another war I also don’t want to let the Russians rebuild the Soviet Empire.
Another issue is at play here is that the US promised Ukraine that we’d have their back if Russia invaded. This was a condition in the agreement where Ukraine gave up their nukes.
The consequence of not fulfilling this promise is that other countries are getting the memo that they need nukes to assure their freedom. They’re also getting the memo that the promises of the USA are worthless.
I think this is a significant consideration. It should take more than Russia “appearing” to make significant moves, of course, but the US can’t spare whatever credibility it has left by breaking promises on serious issues.
Well you have no worries there, Communist China has already rebuilt the Soviet Empire.
The Russians may try to build an Empire, however it will certainly not be Soviet.
