Vermont has become the first state in the nation to mandate access to free condoms in public high schools and middle schools.
Gov. Phil Scott signed the bill into law last year and the condoms are available now.
It applies to grades 7-12.

I am actually on board with this law. Kids are horny little things in middle and high school. I think this will reduce the number of teen pregnancies and abortions. I agree that kids shouldn’t be having sex until marriage like many others on this forum. Reality is that the lack of parenting, lack of faith and lack of morals are the drivers towards bad behavior. Due to that, kids are going to have sex especially in certain communities of color.
I am surprised that Vermont has such a problem with teen pregnancies and HIV. Or do they?
