Which is why self defense is an important thing to embrace. If they would have shot the intruder after he had entered the house. None of this might have happened.
But of course 90% of the people are sheep and anyone wanting to be a sheep dog is taught at a young age to " use your words" against the wolves of this world.

Most policies do not cover deliberate destruction by the government. Perhaps but business policies will cover loss of use/income and the like. Difference between personal and business insurance. Of course different states have different provisions.
