Early this morning, Remembrance Day, Cranbrook RCMP were alerted to the fact that someone had spray painted graffiti on the Wall of Honour at the Cenotaph in Rotary Park.
RCMP were called by a Cranbrook resident who was walking by the Cranbrook Cenotaph. He noted someone had left a message in bright green spray paint on the War Memorial. The resident said that no one was around at the time.
“Thankfully, the Cranbrook RCMP, Cranbrook Fire Services and City of Cranbrook staff worked together and were able to quickly remove the writings before any of our war heroes and veterans were able to see what had been written”, said Cst Katie Forgeron. “We are continuing to investigate and are looking for any information leading to the person(s) responsible”.

Getting kicked out BY A DOCTORS OFFICE for honestly answering that we have a contact being tested for COVID.
Disgusting. Canadians fought hard in WW I and II, sustaining casualties comparable to the US and Britain considering their population. The punks who did this have no idea the sacrifices made for them.
Where is the point where you have to say, "I really don't feel comfortable with this"?
Take "Black Lives Matter" sure it sounds nice on the surface and maybe you can justify some property destruction. But when they are brush aside the murder of old black men and little black girls as acceptable you have to stop and look at who's side you are on.
The line is different for every person and I am just curious about where it is in this case.

TheN They tell you to try urgent care! So apparently UC is better equipped to handle people who might have COVID than the regular doc! And they don’t care if OTHER medical staff are exposed…only them.
So much for “heroes”.
I’ve just realized we are not afraid of COVID if we go to the docs…they are.
