As the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse continues in Kenosha, Wisconsin, this week, voters are largely divided along party lines about whether the teenage gunman should be convicted.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 37% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the jury should find Rittenhouse guilty, while 36% think the jury should find the teenager not guilty. Twenty-seven percent (27%) are not sure.

The problem with the lede is the positioning of the words “Democrats” and “think” next to each other.
The fault line is between those who believe in the 2nd Amendment and the right to self defense and those who do not. Which largely mirrors right and left.
Yet they refuse to even acknowledge that maybe night after night of looting and burning of a city might not be the best way to exercise your right to petition your government for the redress of grievances.
It is an insane world that we live in. God help anyone who doesn’t follow the Democrats party line and the Democrat owned MSM.
They are powerful and they will come after you and justice and fairness be damned.
Clearest case of self defense anyone will ever see.
Democrats don’t believe in self defense.
Most democrats also believed in the Russia/Trump collusion scam, which as we all know now, was complete garbage.
I imagine most respondents have heard nothing bout this case but MSM headlines.
Naturally, leftist believe that the police, the entity that we rely upon for law enforcement, have no business either. Just let the city burn because people are angry and >justified< when they burn, loot and murder.
It is complete anarchy. So what is a person supposed to do while the city burns to the ground?
Most democrats are ignorant idiots.
It defies logic, common sense. The fundamental human right is the right to self defense. Defense of oneself and family.
Democrats don’t believe in the right of selfdefence, except for when it applies to a Democratic/communist.
What this poll indicates to me is 36% of the people (innocent) are following the story and actually reading and listening and deciding for themselves as to what is going on.
37% of the public (guilty) are relying on MSM for their information on the matter, so are getting slanted news.
27% have no clue about the incident and couldn’t care less, as long as it doesn’t interfere with their______(insert pass time here: video gaming, sport viewing, porno viewing).
This certainly has exposed the legal illiterates. Hope they are not voters.
That Dems favor a convicted child rapist Antifa member who drew his weapon first to try and kill Kyle is no longer surprising to me.
They might find a way to believe that Alec Baldwin acted in self defense.
HOW many Democrats have buildings in the path of BLM rioting & looting & burning?????
The problem with this and almost all polls is that they ask UNINFORMED people their opinions in order to influence other uninformed people what they should think.
Anyone who is in the slightest knowledgeable about the facts of this case can only come to one conclusion.
He is being railroaded.
