RNC Taking Biden to Court Over Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandate
Townhall.com ^ | November 11, 2021 | Tommy Hicks

For 10 months, Americans have been suffering under Joe Biden and Democrats’ failed policies and power-hungry agenda.

Suffering with a raging humanitarian crisis at our southern border. Suffering with a nationwide spike in crime because Democrats have sided with Defund the Police activists. And suffering with skyrocketing prices on everything from gas to groceries. Now, Biden wants Americans to suffer some more.

Last week, Biden announced his administration’s forced vaccine mandate had been finalized. This authoritarian move, which Biden first announced back in September, is an equal dose of bad policy and unconstitutional overreach. Americans should see Biden’s mandate for what it is: a reprehensible attempt to avoid responsibility.

Biden has failed to shut down the virus like he repeatedly promised he would. Instead of owning up to his failures, Biden is trying to pass blame onto everyday Americans. Biden didn’t do his job, and so now he wants to force Americans to choose between their job and their constitutionally-protected freedoms.

For someone who sold himself as “Middle Class Joe,” Biden’s decree forcing vaccinations couldn’t come at a worse time for small businesses and their workers. Small businesses across America are already struggling to climb out of the hole Democrat-led lockdowns created. If that weren’t bad enough, those same businesses are facing a historic labor shortage because Biden paid people more to stay home than go to work. Forcing vaccinations would only dampen the economic outlook for small businesses already being squeezed in Biden’s struggling economy.

Unlike large corporations, many small businesses can’t afford the fines Biden want to impose for not complying with his federal decrees. In some cases, the penalties could be as high as $14,000 per employee. For many small businesses, this mandate could be what causes them to go under for good.

If Biden was paying attention, he would know his mandate is a terrible idea. Americans have already seen the negative consequences of vaccine mandates when they’ve been imposed at the local level. New York City is facing a staffing shortage of firefighters because of Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio’s vaccine mandate. Some fire companies have had to close entirely. Some hospitals have halted providing critical services because nurses previously infected with COVID-19 are quitting rather than being forced into making what should be a personal medical decision.

It goes without saying that punishing frontline healthcare workers and first responders who led us through a global pandemic in the name of “public safety” makes absolutely zero sense. Now, Biden wants to replicate those failures on an even larger scale.

In addition to being unconstitutional and unwise, Biden’s mandate is a complete about-face from what he previously said. For months Biden and his administration told us they didn’t have the power to force vaccines and insisted mandates wouldn’t be coming.

Biden would do well to stick to his original position. Last week voters in Virginia and across America made it resoundingly clear that they were fed up with the far-left’s obsession with power. But instead of learning the lessons of the red wave elections, Biden is now doubling down. No doubt many Democrats Biden drags down with him in the midterms next year will be thinking about this mandate when they find themselves out of a job.

To be clear, I am pro-vaccine. But you can be pro-vaccine and still oppose unconstitutional measures that hurt our economy and infringe on our liberties.

Additionally, by waiting months to finalize this vaccine mandate and another two months for it to go into effect, Biden is undermining any credible claim this is some kind of “emergency measure” like he insists. Instead, it shows Biden’s mandate has nothing to do with the Americans’ health and safety and everything to do with advancing a political agenda.

When he announced his mandate back in September, Biden told Americans he wasn’t thinking about their freedoms. Biden might not think or care about freedom, but at the Republican National Committee (RNC) we do. Our ironclad commitment to defending Americans’ freedoms is why we are going to be taking the Biden Administration to court over this unconstitutional edict. When we win our lawsuit, it will be a victory for the rule of law and for all Americans who oppose big-government coercion and cherish freedom.

Good. Pile on the lawsuits from every angle in every possible court

Using the legal system for guerilla warfare. Every case requires them to spend time and resources responding. Us Cloward Piven tactics against them for a change.

Let me guess: The RNC will lack ‘standing’...

As a political organization the RNC would have no standing.

As an employer with 100+ employees they are subject to the provisions of this stupid OSHA mandate, so they have all the standing they need.

The RNC raise a boatload of money to supposedly fight for Election 2020 Integrity and has done absolutely nothing toward that end.

I am finished with that den of self serving vipers.

Where were they when the Kenyanesian Usurper made up DACA out of thin air?

They could have sued and stopped it before it got started, but the GOP wanted amnesty any way they could get it.

They are now nervous about losing their jobs in the next election. Fear is a great motivator.

Is this leading up to a new form of election fraud in 2022?

Do the Democrats plan to mandate a vaccine passport for in-person voting?

“Is the RNC leading or following?”

Consider the first two years of the Trump administration. Republicans held the House and Senate by greater majorities than the Democrats enjoy today, plus President Trump would have signed any conservative bill put before him as well as any bill eliminating wasteful spending or rolling back the bureaucracy. In two years the GOP Congress succeeded in three things:
1) Passing a huge tax decrease for large corporations and which disproportionately favored wealthy Americans
2) Thwarting President Trump’s agenda
3) Sustaining the welfare state.

During that time the Democrats in Congress were in full attack mode and always voted as a solid block. Republicans acquiesced to the Democrat attacks instead of standing as a block and ramming through legislation such as defunding Planned Parenthood and ending Obamacare.

Consider the first year of the Biden administration where the Democrats have a razor thin majority in both houses of Congress (in the Senate only because the Democrat VP votes to break a tie). With the exception of a few individual Republicans (Rand Paul, Jim Jordan, occasionally Tom Cotton and John Kennedy), Republicans are invisible. Republicans are participating and collaborating with the January 6 highly partisan investigation. Republicans gave Biden and Pelosi the votes they need to pass the recent bloated “infrastructure” bill that funds Democrat political initiatives, not hard infrastructure. Most are silent on the increasing tyranny of the government which includes using the FBI and DOJ as political tools to harass and intimidate individual American citizens. Few speak out against the crisis on the southern border.

The RNC is definitely following as are the overwhelming majority of GOP politicians in Congress.

And at the 11th hour they are paying lip service to look like they're trying to stop the mandate.

While I applaud every lawsuit that is filed against this illegal regime, the RNC helped bring on this madness when they failed to contest the last election. They had every opportunity to do so, and if the reports I read are true, the states with the voting irregularities asked Pence not to certify the election, which he failed to do.

So they helped bring on this lawless overreach from Xiden and his cohorts. That said, the more lawsuits, the merrier.

Exactly. This is fodder for their mailings. We are not fooled, the RNC only serves to keep Lindsey Graham re-elected. We remember the Jeb/Trump debate and what you did with admission tickets.

Company CEO’s and Bill Gates admitting these vaccines are garbage should help>>> CEO and Gates getting major adverse reaction will help a lot more. It is a company mandate not a federal mandate.
