In our city of about 40,000 food distributions takes place at the Salvation Army Tuesdays and Thursday, 10:00am-12:00pm, and at another church location Mondays, 3pm, and another church location Hot Breakfast: Mon-Fri 9:00am - 10:00am; Hot Lunch: Mon-Fri 12:00pm-1:00 pm; Food Pantry: Fridays, 8.30am, then there is the senior center and veterans pantry. And there maybe more as there was. A few months ago I counted 72 meals one might get by hitting different pantries. Plenty of food, mostly at taxpayer expense, but thank God we still have more than enough. Americans (73% overweight) are not starving. .
They already did. I just got my unasked for P-EBT card for one of my kids. P for pandemic. It’s got about A thousand dollars on it. I can even pull cash from it. I read every child in a low income school district got one. I thought it was some fake scam. But it’s not. Reloads 128$ a month.
