And FoxNews is covering LIVE now.
That’s unusual.
Ugh. Why.
Not sure it’s a very smart move. But hope it works well.
Wonder why he was put on the stand?
The #1 at fault are the rioters who tried to kill him.
The #2 at fault are the press ginning up the rioters and justifying all the destruction they caused in other cities.
The #3 at fault is the mayor and the police for not protecting their city.
The #4 at fault are the men of Kenosha, who all should be ashamed of themselves for doing less to protect their own town than an out-of-state teenager. If the police can't be counted on then the men of the town should be.
If I am on a jury, I want to hear from the defendant, especially since much of the decision might hang on his state of mind that night. I wish there was a special rule where each juror could ask two questions of the defendant after the lawyers took their shots.
After the clown show of a prosecution rested, I wouldn’t think having Kyle on the stand would be necessary or worth it.
But, the defense is solid. The prosecution really has no case. It was self-defense and any honest person or juror knows that beyond a shadow of a doubt.
I’m not sure how this helps.
He’s already on the not guilty track.
I'm amazed that the defense is allowing Kyle to testify at all.
Judging from his testimony, this kid is as close to a saint as you can get
Wow, very powerful stuff. Pure emotion.
I’m watching this on OAN and an unwanted solicitor from at&t calls with an unsolicited recording. It said to press 3 to speak with a representative. So I did and placed the phone in front of the TV and walked away, so they can be annoyed listening to Kyle’s testimony. Let them be inconvenienced.
Idiot move.
Judging from his testimony, this kid is as close to a saint as you can get
OMG. While not my call, my opinion is that this is not wise, not good at all.
VIdeo
Kyle Rittenhouse breaks down on the stand as he describes the events of the Kenosha protests
Man, those commentators at that site are obnoxious! Can’t they keep their mouths shut?!
Yes it’s risky but I think his lawyers felt that the judge did not dismiss the case immediately after the bombshell droppings and living in an insane atmosphere right now they felt putting the kid on the stand would boost his case further. There’s got to be a logical thing behind this, remember they are the ones that are feeling the mood of the jury in that room right now. And now that their lives have been threatened they were probably under pressure to put him on the stand to defend himself.
