I imagine that Kyle will continue to smile and look relaxed during the trial knowing that the prosecutors are total idiots, and that Judge Schroeder will continue to make humorous insertions from the bench (probably because he already knows how this trial will end with a directed verdict of innocence).
As Hawk Harrelson used to say, "Sit back, relax, and strap it down" cuz' no doubt this one is going to get jiggy.
strike that . . . it serves Kyle well to have the prosecutor go immediately at the jugular. They repeated “You intended to kill him” like eight times, after Kyle answered the question, “I was trying to do what I had to do to stop an immediate threat to my life.”
I too assumed that the face palm picture was out of context. You know that though out the trial a jury is always looking at the counsel, and no attorney would ever do such a thing unless the other side made a mistake.
Binger justs wants the jury to hear things that they can’t forget, even if it gets stricken.
I think Kyle knows that the prosecutor is going to try to anger him.
It’s hard to keep the mental discipline of listening, and answering, with “it’s not personal” looping oin your head (even when it IS personal, this is a good way to keep things clear in YOUR head.

the judge is going after the DA again. I love it. DA asked kye a question, kyle answered it, then DA moved to strike. judge said ‘you asked him the question’...

If I were a juror, this line of irrelevant rambling by the prosecutor would turn me off.
If I werfe a juror I’d wonder why they even bothered to mount a defense. The prosecution witnesses did it for them.
