Funny. I just watched Steve Lehto on his Youtube channel explain this shenanigans by Hertz a few days ago!
It’s one of his most viewed videos aside from “Dont Buy an RV”. Hertz really is a POS business. Hope they go bankrupt.
My bank put a suspected fraud hold on my credit cards while I was traveling. I tried to rent a car from Hertz at the airport but the card was declined due to that. Even after I unblocked it with my bank and explained the situation to Hertz they still wouldn’t rent to me. That was the last time I tried to rent with them. LOL.
“Hope they go bankrupt.”
