As a health care worker, I had the three injection Hep B series in 1989. By 2017 my antibody titer was zero.
If you're dealing hands on with patients, I'd say get the Hep B vaccination, as your risk is higher and Hep B can lead to devastating liver disease and death.
If you're not in the health care industry or you're not working closely with sick patients or diseased individuals, not taking it up the ass or shooting 8 balls, I don't see why you would need Hep B vaccination.

B. R. A. V. O!!!!!!
We had this argument with our child’s pediatrician a few years ago.
Just asked them why our baby needed protection from Hepatitis B since we did not foresee any illicit drug usage or sodomy in his near future…
They acted like we were criminals…

We received hepatitis shots in RVN called gamma globin(?)
It was a standout on my overly long shot record.
Don’t know if it was the same as today but it was VERY uncomfortable!
The scuttlebutt was they used SQUARE needles?
It was mixed with hot was, leaving a hard lump in the rear?

Working as a BioMed I was tested annually for Hep A and B. I have the antibodies for both. I contracted A in the Philippines (viral) and must have came in contact with B as a BioMed but never had symptoms. As a Reservist and later Active Military I was tested a number of times for the antibodies because you cannot get the vax if you have antibodies. I always tested positive for A and B. Why is COVID not treated the same way?
