They are trying to get ahead of Trump’s social network.

> It should be illegal to teach them in high school, because certain people don't get what e is.

e is exponential! Everything is exponential, man!! "The problem is growing exponentially!" (Meaning: it's somewhat larger now.) "The cost of widgets has been rising exponentially!" (Meaning: it's somewhat higher now.)

"I get it! I get it! Exponential! Exponential!"

Wait, what was the question?

2.718281828

It repeats: a constant of calculus, a constant of calculus. Or ‘calcoolus’ if you’re a Stand and Deliver fan, but then the mnemonic doesn’t work.

Well, nobody said the exponent was BIG!

My favorite of all equations:

eiπ = -1
It incorporates the natural log (e), the imaginary (i), the transcendental (π), the unitary (1), and the functions of multiplication, exponentiation, and negation, all in one compact equality.

And of course, it's also mathematically correct.

Oh drat! I mis-stated Euler's identity, forgetting the zero! Horrors!

Should have been:

eiπ + 1 = 0

I like that one too. This is the way I always remember seeing it, rather than your second version.

“E has pi in his I!” “Don’t be such a negative one!”

They say Mnemonics Neatly Eliminate Man’s Only Nemesis - Insufficient Cerebral Storage. I assume that was before commies and Karens.
