Jeremy Clarkson has been criticised online after saying 18-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg deserves a 'smacked bottom.'
The Grand Tour star, 61, who lives in Chadlington, made the comment in a column for The Sunday Times as the Cop26 conference entered its second week - before going on to describe her as an 'annoying little bucket of ego.'

“I don’t know for sure, but I’m guessing Clarkson is a lib.”
Hardly. He used to be the principal host of the BBC show, “Top Gear.”
He was canned by the Beeb for not towing the leftist line and not submitting.
Bezos saw an opportunity and signed him for the Amazon series. Brought the other two with him.
He’s a good guy. Politically incorrect to the max.

She seems prone to angry outbursts and profanity.
Well, she is a spoiled brat. The tantrums are part of that. She expects people to change their lives simply because she delivered an angry speech. When people ignore her for youth and inexperience, she becomes all the more angry.

Not as “creepy” as Brandon.

To put it mildly! : I am a gear head, and have watched Top Gear for a very long time. One of my favourite Clarksonisms is "Ecomentalist" - his word for the Eco-nuts.

He is an old hat at stirring the PC wokesters.
On an Old Top Gear they had built a makeshift bridge over the River Kwai. As he watched an Asian man walking across the bridge, Clarkson remarked to co-presenter Richard Hammond: “That is a proud moment… but there’s a slope on it.”
Hammond played along, saying: “You are right… it is definitely higher on that side.”
“We decide to ignore the slope and move on to the opening ceremony.”

Her 15 minutes expired ages ago. Whining little Nazis deserve at least a spanking, not that it would do much good at 18.

Or more of a libertarian.
My only worry about Greta is that Sweden might deport her to the United States.

She is in some need of discipline. And from what I know of Clarkson, the responses to his column are giving him laughs and nothing more.

Jeremy Clarkson is a columnist for the British car magazine ‘Car’. I’m not sure if I call him a liberal, but he seems left of center ( or centre).

I thought he was canned for smacking an assistant who brought him the wrong sandwich?

Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson is an English broadcaster, journalist, farmer, game show host and writer who specialises in motoring. He is best known for the motoring programmes Top Gear and The Grand Tour alongside Richard Hammond and James May.
And my hero now.

The snowflakes are acting as if Clarkson were saying he wanted to ‘deliver’ the spanking. Maybe he did intend that, I don’t know... but I kinda doubt it.

That was the excuse. The real reason was that he called a spade a spade too many times and upset the PC management at BBC
