Former aide: Trump would 'absolutely' impose some form of autocracy in second term
The Hill ^ | 11/08/2021 | MAUREEN BRESLIN

Alyssa Farah, an ex-aide to former President Trump, says she's deeply concerned about him potentially running in 2024, believing that, given a second term, he would undermine democracy and "weaponize" the government against his political opponents.

CNN's Jake Tapper said in a recent interview with Farah, who served as a White House communications director and assistant to the president, that Trump "challenged our institutions near to the breaking point," asking if she believed that he would try to impose "some sort of autocracy" if he returned to the Oval Office.

"I think he absolutely would," she replied. "There were things he wanted to do while in power the first time that were well beyond the scope of what the U.S. president should be able to do, but oftentimes it was simply the motivation of simply hoping to win reelection that kept him from doing things. It's very different in a second term, and I think that's what scares me the most."

I think she was a plant.

Sort of. Her parents are divorced, and her mom writes for the Huffington Post (though I haven't been able to find any articles she wrote).

I don't think Alyssa intended to attack Trump from the beginning, but I think she used her father's connections to get ahead, without being committed to Trump's policies.

With all of the revelations about what was revealed, and now being proven further with hard evidence, of what was done to President Trump via the Russian investigation hoax, it is ridiculous that they would say they fear Donald Trump doing this. This has already been happening - they weren’t and aren’t concerned about this - only the “fear” Donald Trump would do it himself.

I most fervently hope you’re right.

I do too, I just hope we can give him the tools,
House and Senate that he needs to clean house.
Without them the rats will stifle any effort to
bring them to justice.

Two or three years under investigation would do the
democrats a world of good.

God speed.

His name is Donald Trump. And I don’t think he will make the same mistake when he is re-elected

***********************************

I think you meant to say mistakes. And Give Me One Reason, perhaps something he said, anything he said, to make me believe that anything in his decision-making would change in the future. Especially his advisers. His closest advisers. Why should we think anything would change?

“ I think you meant to say mistakes.”

I did indeed. Thanks.

I didn’t have anything he’s said or done to cite. But I also believe it would be premature to start talking about appointments in his second term.

Weaponize the government against political opponents?

Hellooooo honey. What the hell do you think has been happening? All the FIB collusion with the obviously fraudulent Trump-Russia collusion hoax...the attempt to frame General Flynn, the refusal to investigate Hunter Biden’s computer with all that proof of the Biden’s corruption. All the crooked prosecutors who let people riot and commit all sorts of crimes so long as they were from Klantifa/BLM? All the Jan 6 protestors who were thrown into federal gulags and tortured for 10 months for MISDEMEANOR charges?

What the hell do you think has been happening? If Trump goes in there and cleans out the 3 letter agencies and the Military with a flamethrower, it will be both just and necessary to root out the deep seated corruption in those agencies.

Her father is Joe Farah, founder of World Net Daily. Joe was born in New Jersey, and is of Lebanese ancestry on his parents’ side.

Do you not know who he is?

This proves one thing:

If you have something negative to say about President Trump, you will be heard.

So she was probably hired because of who her dad is, not because of her political beliefs.

I've been around. Haven't had much of a chance to follow your silliness. So when is Trump taking over?

As soon as you wake up.

But I thought you have said in the past that 85% or more of the people in the country have already 'woken up'. How much more do you need?
