Yep, clearly a pattern is emerging...
(1) Reports surface of the administration considering some looney-tunes action.
(2) Reporters duly question administration flacks and/or Biden himself about it, and there are prompt denials that the insane idea is under consideration because it’s so obviously insane.
(3) Administration admits the idea is indeed under consideration, and an unhinged Biden will pound his fist in explaining why it was necessary and proper all along because of the sins of the previous administration.
