Howdy, luvie.

He was a very brave hero!

Did you manage to keep from nodding off at church this morning? :-)

I did manage to make it through without banging the pew. LOL! I actually woke up before the alarm went off. I didn’t want to get up, but I did so I wouldn’t have to listen to it.

Hope you had some pretty weather again today. Bet you enjoyed sleeping in!

Good for you not embarrassing yourself at church. LOL

Like you, I woke up before the alarm went off today but I got enough sleep. Feel better for it but am still a little d rained like I always am on Sundays.

It was another gorgeous day here but I couldn’t go outside to enjoy it. They were here all day harvesting. They’ve finished this side of the road at last and have started on the huge field across the road. They’ll be over there all week so we won’t be able to get out to enjoy the 70 degree temps ahead. :-(

Dang! That cotton harvesting is never-ending! Sorry you can’t go out. It would be such a nice time to enjoy fresh air. Except there isn’t any.

It was very nice here, but I didn’t go out either. If I do, I start coughing. I am beginning to wonder if it’s residuals from being sick in January.

The neighbor across the street cleared his snow dusted driveway today with a leaf blower. Worked like a charm!

The cotton should have been gone already. This is very late in the year for any harvesting to be going on.
Of all times for them to be HERE. It’s going to be so nice the next four days. Friday will be chilly and Saturday will be cold. Drat.

Some of your coughing could well be residual from January. It’s one thing that does hang on.

It’s a shame they couldn’t have started on this side so at least they’d finish up farther away during the pretty days. I hope to heck he plants soybeans next year. LOL!

They’ve BEEN on this side the past week. Now they’re going to be directly across from us the next week.

More than relief for us, I’ll be glad when they’re done so poor Bella can breathe well again. Enough of the funk seeps into the house to really fire up her asthma and I feel so sorry for her. The meds can only do so much.

Poor little Bella. Thank goodness she has you and you watch all your kitties like a hawk! Nasty old cotton!

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Was it another beautiful day like Saturday over there for your outing? Did Gizmo drag you all over creation again? LOL

I do feel sorry for the lil girlie when funk in the air gets her fired up. It hurts my heart to hear her wheeze. She’s had a rough summer but it’s been worse the past week.

I pray for fields of corn or soybeans next year. I do know someone different will plant the field across the road next year but Hubby didn’t think to ask him what he plans to plant. That would have been my FIRST question! LOL

I saw this on Twitter. Kudos to your AG: "
Tennessee's Attorney General Herbert H.Slaterly III announced Friday that a coalation of seven attorneys has filed a lawsuit against the"Biden Adminastration's vaccine mandates for private sector employees. Well Done &Great Job To These Att.Generals!"

I think Texas' AG is also one of them who has filed a lawsuit against this perverse administration.

I heard about it Friday. I was beginning to wonder when TN was going to jump in and join the other states that had already filed lawsuits.

I’m glad it did. I hope they win. Lots of healthcare workers at our county hospital who are not vaccinated are in danger of losing their jobs because of the FEDS threatening to take away their Medicare/Medicaid privileges unless they get vaxxed. A lot of them are actually going to quit rather than comply, including a friend of ours.

The governor can only do so much when it’s federal programs held for hostage, but we’ll see what happens.

Meanwhile, it feels like 3am here so I think I’ll crash and burn. LOL! See ya mañana!

Quitting rather than complying is going on everywhere with many kinds of businesses. All we can do is hope the AGs win and the feds realize it’s time to back off. Just have to wait and see.

Sleep well and sleep late! :-)
