Thirteen House Republicans on Friday saved the progressive “Squad” from voting for the $1.2 trillion so-called bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Thirteen House Republicans voted for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The bill passed 228-206, meaning that the bill did not receive support from 218 Democrats, and Republicans gave Democrats the necessary votes for it to pass Congress’s lower chamber.
This is similar to how 19 Senate Republicans gave Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) the votes to reach the 60 plus-vote majority needed for the bill to pass through the Senate.
Reps. John Katko (R-NY), Don Bacon (R-NE), Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), Fred Upton (R-MI), Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), Don Young (R-AK), Tom Reed (R-NY), Chris Smith (R-NJ), Andrew Garbarino (R-NY), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), and Rep. David McKinley (R-WV) voted yes on the bill.

“Republicans gave Democrats the necessary votes for it to pass Congress’s lower chamber.”
This happens way too often and is one reason why conservatives turned to Trump. Pelosi Republicans must go.
They helped Pelousi keep her power buy side stepping the other idiots. The people are more awake than ever and I hope we finally come to a point where we can purge this whole criminal empire and send them off to prison or the firing squad
So, 193 R’s vote no and 13 vote yes and you blame the entire GOP. Sorry to say it, but speaking factually you’re either stupid or you’re here doing the D’s bidding. Neither choice is good but it is what it is.
Youd have thought Kinzinger of all people would have learned his lesson. It seems he’s a very slow learner… very slow!!! In fact he exhibits a special depth of stupid. I think his future political aspirations will remain just that.
Two Michiganders. Usual suspects. Do NOT shop at Meijer.
They’ll all have to go. You can’t target these 13 unless you want to replace them with democraps, that’s the world they come from.
The whole system is rotten to it’s foundation.
Perhaps Republicans could write their own infrastructure bill of maybe $60 billion dollars.
The usual suspects..

When the R’s get control of the House in ‘22 they’ll go right back to old ways. Paul Ryan will effectively (behind the scenes) be the Speaker once again.
The GOP is what it is.
Some things never change.
They had four years to do it under Trump and never did.
They helped Pelousi keep her power buy side stepping the other idiots.

Would be interesting to know what they got in return for their votes.
Those northeast Pubs would be Left Wing in any other part of the country.
Called “Rockefeller Republicans” in the old days. The Country Club Pubbies.
Now these stooges are just Dem-lites.
The Squad has more credibility than the swampy political class that run things. They are the Anti-Trump / Damien / Rosemarys Baby or whatever you want to call it.
but at least they stuck to their guns and didn’t vote for it, yet it knowingly passes, and they look legit for standing their ground and not voting for it.
Trump is our guy who is the real thing
The Squad are the immature children. they might be children running the school, but they dont hide they are and are the real thing.
All the left is really missing to complete their puzzle is their charasmatic fuhrer who can bring it all down. The left doesnt have that yet, so they destroy everything through a senile puppet. Obama was supposed to be their messiah but he arrived a little too early. Their is no doubt that he is a prominent shadow decision maker in the destruction of our country.
Nail on the head comment!
The whole system is rotten to it’s foundation.

A massive government literally guarantees corruption on a grand scale.
Big government = big opportunities for graft
The first step toward cleaning up this mess is to SHRINK the size, power and scope of the behemoth. Put Fedzilla back in the cage.
But it will never happen now. Neither party will ever shrink the monster.
Massive government and corruption is now permanent.
