this should have been a requirement from the start, a year ago, seeing as the goal is to protect the elderly and frail by vaccinating ‘essential workers’ and ‘front line workers’ first.
It’s hard to believe that in some areas that still have high infection rates, old folks homes staff are less than 40% vaccinated and old folks, restricted to their beds or facilities, a captive audience, are still being infected and dying after enduring a year’s long lockdown separated from family ‘for their own health’
I’m beginning to think there are many vaccinated that are spreading this virus and I’m certainly not alone.
My son is currently awaiting a covid tests though he’s had the shots since last year.... because he works in a hospital. .....When he didn’t have the shot he wasn’t ill with anything. Now he’s got a cold or whatever it proves to be. So we wait if it’s covid or not....meanwhile he has to stay home from work until the tests are in.
The rest of my family has not had shots and none of us have had covid or a cold.
This line of reasoning is mind-boggling to me. If you are vaxxed - you can GET covid - you can SPREAD covid - so why is it ONLY the unvaxxed get the blame?
If front line health care workers were vaccinated a year ago, any temporary protection they had would have expired months ago—these vaccines just are not working very well.
Doubling down is not gonna fix it.
