This line of reasoning is mind-boggling to me. If you are vaxxed - you can GET covid - you can SPREAD covid - so why is it ONLY the unvaxxed get the blame?
I don’t know why it would be mind-boggling to you.
Old folks homes were put on lockdown because we know from the git-go they are high risk with poor antibody response and immune systems - nobody in nobody out unless a worker. NO family visits, nada. All the patients were vacccinated, conscious or not. So the ONLY way a locked-down old folks home person can be infected is for infection to be brought in by the only allowed persons - the workers.
Then, you open the nursing homes to family, but they have to be vaccinated, but now they and the old folks are at risk because - the workers still aren’t vaccinated/recovered. How much sense does that make? That’s what’s mindbloggling.
