President Biden and House Democrats celebrated overnight after the passage of the bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, which ended weeks of deadlock amid infighting between the party's moderates and progressives. No, this one is the so called infrastructure bill. But this one does have funding to study implementing a millage tax on personal vehicles. The IRS stuff is in the build back better bill, still unknown if it will pass.

How about the death tax..or lets say whenever my Mom dies, she leaves us the house..do they tax the house based on what the house is worth NOW or what it was worth when it was purchased?

That is what my mom is most concerned about..because she has an apartment building and this house we live in, when she dies how much will we have to pay in death taxes..I know when my grandmother died in 2006 her kids had the pay the taxes for all of her properties and it was a lot but not sure how much it will be now

It’s all theater, IMO. The GOP wanted this bill as much as the Dems did because GOP donors want their fingers in the pie. China Mitch greased it in the Senate. McCarthy did the same for Pelosi in the House. No GOPer who voted for it will face any consequences from House GOP leadership or the NRCC.
