I get about 2 million results for BBC + Greta Thunberg, so this article is completely redundant. BBC has promoted her non-stop since she arrived on the climate scene.
She is (ironically) the great granddaughter of Svante Arrhenius.
Svante was a famous scientists, founder of physical chemistry, Nobel price winner (when it still mattered), creator of Arrhenius equation etc.
Among other things, he came with the idea of greenhouse gasses and global warming. He hoped the global warming will be great for the Earth, but figured out, that the CO2 effects are only logarithmic, so they will not give us too much of the desired warming.
Basically he had the same view on CO2 as today’s despised global warming sceptics.
He would be appealed and disgusted hearing Greta! Probably turning around in his grave now.
