According to new documents received by Judicial Watch and exclusively provided to Fox News, Maryland’s most populous county, Montgomery County, launched a “psychoeducational lesson” teaching children in schools that there is a “dual pandemic” involving COVID-19 and “systemic racism.” Materials recommended that teachers buy the Ibram X. Kendi book “Antiracist Baby” as “the perfect gift” for “ages baby to age 3.”
The documents come amid intense debate about critical race theory (CRT) in schools, after Virginia Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin won the 2021 governor’s race on a platform banning CRT. Many parents have opposed CRT – a framework that involves deconstructing aspects of society to discover systemic racism beneath the surface – as divisive and racist.
“This material details how extremist race politics and CRT are being used to target children for political ends,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement on the documents. “Politics should immediately be removed from the curriculum of Montgomery County Schools. These CRT-laden teachings have no place in any American classroom.”

Trick Baby is a 1972 Blaxploitation film directed by Larry Yust and starring Kiel Martin and Mel Stewart. This crime-drama is based and named after a novel by Iceberg Slim written in 1967.
“Blue” Howard (Mel Stewart) and “White Folks” (Kiel Martin) are two con men in Philadelphia. Blue is an older black hustler who raised “White Folks and taught him “the con”. White Folks is the son of a black mother who is a prostitute and a white father. White Folks has a complexion light enough for him to pass as a white man which gives him an advantage in the con. The duo exploit the dynamics between whites and blacks to achieve their cons. Blue usually plays a vulnerable black man being exploited by White Folks which allows Folks to gain the credibility needed to pull off the con.

Wow! Holy cow, I actually read that book in the 1970s. My dad was an NYPD cop and he brought home these books by Iceberg Slim to get a better idea of pimps and prostitution as he was working in what they called “the pimp squad” back then which busted pimps and hookers and helped runaways who got caught up in it. So I read those books, I must have been in my early to mid teens. My dad is still living amazingly enough and I tell him all the time, please please write a book. The stories he has are unreal.
OK “teachers”, explain why folks from 170 different countries are willing to sacrifice all they have to come to a country that is systemically racist.

Cool. Iceberg Slim wrote quite a number of books. Years ago I happened to catch that film on cable and for some reason it stick.

I only thought of Trick Baby when I read the name of the book in the OP. Made me think of the black man/white man con.
