Who cares. I’d tend to wipe it and install Linux. Kubuntu runs great on my old i7 laptop. I still have Windows and chose the OS during early startup. Linux can resize the Windows C: drive and install itself next to Windows on a newly created partition. It is best to run disk defragmenter on Windows first because Windows tends to be a little sloppy when using HDD space.
Problem is, the only mention I see at GP for an Inspiron is in the comments. Maybe it’s one of my ad blockers. Weird how that got in the title.
