A ProPublica report published Thursday found Polis, a tech entrepreneur and former congressman, used donations and financial arrangements to get out of paying federal income taxes in 2013, 2014 and 2015. How do you use donations to avoid income taxes?
Is he a 501C corporation?

If what he did was legal, good for him.
If one doesn’t like a hole in the law, then change the law. But let’s not point fingers at someone who was smart enough to drive a truck through it.

Proving that almost every man is a conservative, especially Democrat men, when it comes to their own money and freedoms. And many men are leftist authoritarians, especially Republican men, when it comes to their children. People only assume a different persona when it comes to their neighbors.

Biden used similar tactics for YEARS.....

-- He donated to his own charity, the Jared Polis Foundation, which spent $2 million on mailers promoting his work on the state's education board.
-- Another strategy he deployed to avoid tax exposure was investing in companies that produce little income even as their valuation increases.
-- To shelter his income from taxes, Polis also used a family business, Jovian Holdings, the report found. That company's board includes family members as its directors and his friend Art Laffer, a conservative economist. Just the sort of thing any average taxpayer can do, to reduce their tax liability. And never forget, the Democrat Party is "the party of the little guy"!

Although it is probably hypocritical for a tax-and-spend Dem to avoid paying taxes, I don’t see anything wrong with legally avoiding paying taxes down to the last penny.
