President Joe Biden, having failed twice to convince House Democrats to back his legislative agenda, resorted Thursday to personally calling lawmakers to beg them to vote for the $1.75 trillion Build Back Better Act.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tentatively scheduled a vote on the Build Back Better Act, or the Democrats’ social welfare and climate change spending reconciliation act.

It's never political suicide to take something from you and give it to two other people, I mean, do the math.

That's why we are in advanced system failure.

However, there's more to this.

No House Democrat running for re-election in 2022 can have any confidence that Team Biden will help and not hurt them (I use "Team Biden" because Joseph Robinette Biden is only a hologram).

Now, a lot of those Democrats will run unopposed, but in a contested race like NH-1 where I live, it is unknowable how "Chris Pappas stood up for President Biden when it counted" is going to work with the cold, hungry voters a year from now.
