When Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 while awaiting trial on allegations that he sexually abused dozens of underage girls, some of his accusers said they feared they would never get closure.
In the two years since his death, prosecutors, lawyers and accusers have pushed to hold Epstein and his associates accountable, seeking compensation from his estate and filing a civil racketeering suit against the estate’s executors.
"The world in the next few years is about to learn just how widespread his sex-trafficking operation was and how it was funded and who all was involved,” said Bradley Edwards, a lawyer for some of the women who have sued Epstein and his alleged enablers.
Some accusers say they see an opportunity for closure when Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime friend, confidante and employee, goes on trial on sex-trafficking charges. The process of choosing a jury starts Thursday, when prospective jurors are set to begin filling out questionnaires.
The trial is expected to last about six weeks and offer a window into Epstein’s alleged crimes dating to the 1990s.

If she can refrain from committing suicide until then.
Not suicide, arkancide.
She’s alive at someone’s pleasure.
Legally ruled but otherwise a farce! Cellmate moved, corridor cameras 'out' & 2 guards 'asleep' when supposed to be doing 30 minute suicide-watch visual checks!
Can you say 'implausible deniability'?
Not in any particular order, but Mossad, Scotland Yard and the CIA will see to it that nothing comes of this trial
The federal bureaucracy had “no money” to provide the slightest extra protection for Epstein, who trafficked in children for big shots, yet they had plenty of money to fund raids on Roger Stone and Manafort whose “crimes” were technical, with 20 or more out of town agents, helicopters overhead, and armored cars.
The examination of the meta-data, gaggle, and fritter info will also be informative.
A pertinent and very sharp observation. Remember the Clinton Administration's use of force? Waco and Elian Gonzales, just to name two? Much the same happened in Wisconsin when local Democrats (DA & Judge) attacked Gov. Scott Walker (R) supporters with pre-dawn raids using excessive force.
Voltaire wrote about this kind of action; "pour encourager les autres" [ in order to encourage the others —said ironically of an action (such as an execution) carried out as a warning to others]. To the STATIST/LEFTist/Swamp-creature, nothing succeeds like excess force, as it also serves to discourage others! Of course the prisoners of 01/06/21 do come to mind here as well!
