OPEC and its allies agreed at a meeting on Thursday to stick to plans to raise oil output by 400,000 barrels per day from December, despite calls from the United States for extra supply to cool rising prices.

Sources have said Saudi Arabia and Russia are becoming more confident that the higher prices will not elicit a fast increase in output by the U.S. shale gas industry.

OPEC+ went through negotiations not that long ago setting up the agreement they are working under now. UAE was a holdout and they finally settled that. They aren’t changing, this is the setup they want. If Biden wants more supply he has to back off his stupid policies, period.
All this stupidity and suffering so he can pretend he cares about climate change even though what he’s done doesn’t affect anything. The oil from Canada still gets sent to refining, and we still use just as much gas we just pay more. If it goes much higher a slight drop in use will happen but not enough to matter. It’s all a show, a stupid show with negative results that doesn’t affect the ‘planet’ in any way, shape or form. It sure affects everyone from the middle class and below, and that’s most of the country.
Even OPEC is saying “Let’s Go Brandon”.

And just today I read how the ideologues in the Biden Admin and the EPA are going to put strict limits on all flaring of gas from oil wells.
If I were an OPEC minister, I would think: “they WANT us to raise the price to $150/barrel.”

As a side note, was reading today about Durham's next possible target, Fiona Hill - a typical deep-state lizard, belonging to all the globalist institutions, and life-long Foreign Policy hack. She testified against Trump to congress over "Ukraine-gate" and now it turns out, had a hand in creating the phony Steele-dossier. She also close to John Bolton and was appointed to her position by none other than Trump himself. Yet another bullet Trump shot into his own foot.
I believe Trump assumed he could control the swamp simply by the force of his personality. He never seemed to grasp the ideological battle he was in.
Why isn’t the US a member of the OPEC+ ?
