Democrats across Virginia expressed profound disappointment Wednesday after Republicans romped to an unlikely victory in the governor’s race, an ominous sign for the Democratic Party before next year’s midterm elections.
But one group refused to be blamed for the party’s poor showing: Black voters and elected officials.
Fears about Black turnout and a lack of enthusiasm did not materialize in Tuesday’s results as former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, ran close to expected totals in the state’s majority-Black areas. Instead, Black state leaders and voters who backed McAuliffe said the results were a sign that the party could not rely on minority voters to cover its cratering totals in more white areas of the state, particularly in rural communities that voted heavily for Glenn Youngkin, the Republican businessman who won the governor’s race.

They may hate black conservatives, but they blame it on black Democrats.
The most impactful ads are those that speak the truth.
The whole “Great Society” programs envisioned in the 1960s were designed to capture blacks into the Democratic party. Whether by design or intent, it literally destroyed the black family structure, at the time some estimates showed a higher marriage rate than whites. Out of wedlock births are now maybe 70%, this is the legacy of how much Democrats “care” about black folks.
Compare black conservative speakers to their pathetic opposition.
Positive Common sense ideas vs cliche challenged whiners with proven loser policies.
They need to repackage their racism from the good old Klan days. But why a single black votes for those who wish to be their mass’as is incomprehensible.
If memory serves me, prior to the Great Society and the welfare state, black illegitimacy was lower than white.
I guess the only alternative is to import a new electorate which is "more deserving" of the love and caring which the Democratic Party lavishes upon them.

From what I understand, the black vote was zombie like normal for McAwful, and he still lost. Shame on those voters for not thinking for themselves. Change your robot like attitudes in voting and politics, and they may see a change. Crap like this been going on 40+plus years.
Who also voted for a black woman for Lt Governor and a Hispanic man for AG.
Those two did not win on minority votes alone.

Blacks still voted for McAwful by over 90%...their turnout was lower ..and that’s how they help the R. By staying home, because it’s clear they will always support the Dem. Hispanics surprisingly voted strong for the Republicans in VA Tuesday.

Blacks either work for the state or federal Government, or are getting freebies. They also know the Dems push policies that allow them to under perform in school and work and still get moved ahead of the line...with quotas and other racists policies.
Black demonrats vote for a living every two years, nice work if you can get it.
They were just too worn out after the 2020 cheat. It was really hard to get so many Trump votes trashed.
