I agree. I fully support our President (Trump) but his ego gets in his way sometimes. If he can learn to be a little more gracious and let others take the credit it would make him look even better in the eyes of American voters.
Spot on... Why did he have to say anything except CONGRATULATIONS? He would endear the liberal voter on the fence and his base would grow, and we could MAGA.
He won’t though, it’s his brain wiring. In some people there are just things you need to be able to look past because their positives outweigh them. They won’t change, they can’t. And the definitely can’t “learn”. This leads to the cringeworthy Trump behavior.
I try to look past his infantile bravado and always am cheering him on. It’s kind of fun watching heads explode.
Remember this is from the Hill. They will find a way to turn whatever Trump said into a tone deaf boasting.
