Our beef is with uncontrolled ILLEGAL immigration. My girlfriend is a legal immigrant “of color.” (Filipino) The most staunch Trump supporter I know is married to a Japanese woman. Another Trump supporter I know is married to a Filipino.

Yes, but she was in the country legally. What we want to do is stop ALL illegal aliens from entering the US. Foreigners wishing to enter the US have other options - legal options. But this southern border mess is just more of the flaunting of authority which seriously got under way in the sixties - it is giving the middle finger to law and order!!.
We are not blanket against immigration, just illegal immigration, and also passing out asylum tickets to whoever can get to the border (as they are doing now).
No one here is “anti-immigrant.” Heck, many of us MARRIED people from other countries. My guess is that you, as the bigot you admit to being, did not marry someone of a different color or country, correct?

You're right. We need an orderly and controlled immigration system. We need a system that only allows legal immigration; illegals should be sent back more or less immediately.
Many Jamaicans came here in the 70’s when socialist/Marxists took over.
I married into a a family of them, one took a bullet from the Marxists back then.
They see shades of what happened back then , happening in the US.
They are strong patriots and vehemently against leftism.
