Virginia Department of Elections Commissioner Chris Piper said Tuesday that the statewide election between former Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin ran smoothly.
Piper said, "Today was an overwhelmingly good day for Virginia," and that the election was "about as smooth as we could ask for," according to Richmond-based The Virginia Mercury....
...Piper, who said 88,000 ballots had yet to be returned, said there was no update on that number as of Election Night, but assured that they would be counted if they arrive Friday by noon. ...

Some people just never get around to filling in and mailing their ballots. I’d assume at least half of those 88K will never be returned.

And I would add that with McAwful’s implosion over the past couple weeks, I doubt late mail-in votes would break strongly his way.
Or in this case it could be 99K of 88K get returned.
Maybe more. I still think the rats 🐀 will try to steal it, and it’s possible they might succeed. It ain’t over, till it’s WAY WAY over.
In other words, according to the Democrat, things will be just fine… they have these undiscovered ballots right over here! Why look! They are 90+% for Terry! Just enough to win this “hard fought” battle! Shucks. Better luck next time Repubs.

Of the 88K ballots 120K will be returned; all Democrat votes.
